Job summary

McCormick South Africa is seeking a Production Planner in Midrand to optimize integrated customer service, commercial planning and production processes within an efficient supply chain.

You will use SAP/Excel to meet demand, monitor inventory and production adherence, manage new product launches, generate reports, and ensure health and safety compliance, collaborating in a matrix structure. This role requires 3–5 years in supply chain, preferably FMCG.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in supply chain roles, preferably FMCG suppliers
• Business reporting experience
• Supply chain degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Use SAP/Excel to meet demand management requirements, ensuring inventory targets, OEE, allergen compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Effective Communication: Address constraints impacting demand and customer service promptly.
• Production Plan Adherence: Monitor and communicate adherence by SKU, actively participating in production meetings.
• New Product Introductions: Schedule new product launches and discontinuations efficiently.
• SAP Expertise: Clarify and maintain production parameters and data within SAP.
• Management Reports: Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
• Health and Safety: Comply with all regulations and procedures concerning Health and Safety.
