Job summary

Tiger Brands in Pietermaritzburg is hiring a Credit Controller to manage the full credit control function for chain stores and independent customers in the FMCG sector. You will request remittance, allocate payments, send statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Essential is a National Diploma in finance or equivalent, a credit control credential is a plus, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with chain stores.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in finance or equivalent.
• A credit control qualification would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with chain stores and independents in FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full credit control function for chain stores and independent customers.
• Request remittance, balance payments and allocate payments; send statements.
• Investigate unprocessed claims and reconcile pricing/CGIC where applicable.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and invoices; compile and submit reports as required.
