About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to manage the upkeep of their diverse vehicle fleet in Mahikeng . This position is crucial for ensuring the operational readiness and safety of all company vehicles, ranging from light-duty cars to heavy-duty trucks. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical expertise, a commitment to safety, and excellent organizational skills, contributing to efficient Installation & Maintenance operations. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to keep a fleet running smoothly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across various vehicle types.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
• Respond to roadside emergencies or breakdowns as needed to ensure minimal disruption.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fleet Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
