Placements24 is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations for a large vehicle fleet based in Bloemfontein. This leadership role focuses on maintaining performance, safety, and cost-efficiency through proactive planning and effective management of technicians and admin staff.

You will manage vendor relationships, implement best practices to minimize downtime, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance Management or a similar leadership role in automotive operations.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, maintenance procedures, and fleet management software.
• Proven experience in budget management, cost control, and vendor negotiation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications in fleet management or automotive technology are a plus.
