About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to manage the upkeep of their vehicle fleet in Upington . This role is essential for ensuring the operational readiness and safety of all company vehicles, from light-duty cars to heavy-duty trucks. You will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and performing preventative care to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate is experienced in automotive and heavy-duty vehicle repair and possesses a strong commitment to quality workmanship. This hands-on position plays a crucial part in the logistical efficiency of operations throughout the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using specialized tools and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic.
