Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fleet from Mobeni, Durban. This onsite role focuses on vehicle availability, compliance, maintenance, and cost control to support uninterrupted operations.

You will optimize fleet utilization, coordinate with drivers, operations, and maintenance providers, and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements. A leadership background in FMCG logistics is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years' leadership experience in logistics within an FMCG environment.
• National Diploma in Logistics or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, compliance and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet activities to ensure vehicle availability and deployment according to priorities.
• Monitor fleet utilization and optimize deployment across operations.
• Schedule maintenance and servicing; track vehicle inspections and repairs.
• Maintain fleet records, licenses, permits and compliance documentation.
• Lead the team, enforce discipline and support development.
• Monitor fuel consumption, track costs and identify savings opportunities.
