Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Durban (South Africa) is seeking a Workshop Operations role to support the Workshop Manager with the day-to-day running of the workshop and to coordinate daily work for mechanics, technicians and workshop assistants.

The successful candidate will oversee vehicle servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance, monitor job progress to ensure on-time completion, prioritise urgent repairs, inspect completed work and help minimise downtime across the fleet.

• Allocate and coordinate daily work for mechanics, technicians and workshop assistants.

• Prioritise urgent repairs and breakdowns based on operational requirements.
• Inspect completed work before vehicles are released from the workshop.
• Help manage workflow to minimise vehicle downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of workshop activities and completed repairs.
