Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit, train, and motivate a team of fitness instructors, front desk staff, and support personnel.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive membership growth and retention.
• Manage studio budgets, including revenue targets, expense control, and profitability.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene regulations are adhered to.
• Maintain excellent member relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee scheduling of classes, personal training sessions, and studio events.
• Manage inventory of fitness supplies, equipment, and retail products.

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding fitness enterprise, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Fitness Studio Manager to lead their flagship studio in Soweto, Gauteng. This role is responsible for the overall operational success of the studio, including staff management, client acquisition and retention, financial performance, and maintaining an exceptional member experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and fitness, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven ability to drive business growth within the Leisure & Sports sector. You will be the driving force behind creating a motivating and successful environment for both members and staff in Soweto.
