Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Fitness Centre Supervisor to lead daily operations of a well-equipped East London facility and to foster a safe, welcoming environment for members. You will supervise staff, maintain equipment, manage schedules and assist members on their fitness journeys.

You will handle member inquiries, support sales for fitness programs, and ensure adherence to health and safety policies. CPR/First Aid certification is required or highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fitness industry role with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Certification as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment operation and maintenance.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the fitness centre in a clean, safe, welcoming atmosphere.
• Supervise and support fitness instructors and gym staff, providing guidance and feedback.
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained and operational; schedule repairs as needed.
• Assist members with gym orientation, equipment usage, and basic fitness inquiries.
