Job summary

HRCorp in Johannesburg, South Africa, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with proven expertise in fire detection and gas suppression systems to identify, develop and secure new business within the SA electronic security sector.

You will lead strategic initiatives, build relationships with decision-makers, and deliver tailored proposals while achieving sales targets and maintaining a strong pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' sales experience in electronic security, fire detection and gas suppression.
• Proven track record in system design and solution-based sales.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• SAQCC certification - Fire Detection & Gas Suppression.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets (turnover and GP).
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct a minimum of 25 sales calls per week.
• Ensure zero sales-related complaints and high client satisfaction.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fire detection and gas suppression systems (design, installation, maintenance).
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, SANS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
• Develop tailored proposals and deliver compelling presentations.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.
