Job summary

Network Finance in Sandton is seeking a detail-oriented Cashbook Specialist to join its finance team. You will own high-volume cashbook transactions, daily bank reconciliations, EFT processing and month-end close support across multiple bank accounts.

The role requires strong Excel skills and accuracy under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to modern ERP systems and VAT/compliance considerations. Navision/D365 experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2-3 years' commercial experience in cashbook, treasury or banking-focused accounting.
• Strong hands-on bank reconciliations and cashbook processing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Navision / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is highly advantageous; Accpac/Sage 300 exposure beneficial.
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and capture high-volume cashbook transactions across multiple bank accounts.
• Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Process EFT payment batches and assist with cash and liquidity management.
• Support month-end close, ledger balancing and reconciliation/audit schedules.
• Monitor banking portfolios and ensure VAT compliance and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit processes with proper documentation.
