Job summary

Communicate Finance in South Africa seeks an experienced R2R leader to run the Record-to-Report function across multiple entities. You will manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes and deliver IFRS-compliant financial statements.

You will partner with finance teams for technical accounting guidance, liaise with external auditors, and drive process improvements while mentoring the finance team.

Qualifications

• Lead the R2R function across multiple entities.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee group reporting and consolidation activities.
• Ensure statutory reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and controls.
• Ensure IFRS compliance including IFRS 16.
• Partner with finance teams for technical accounting guidance.
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate annual audit requirements.
• Analyze financial results and reporting variances.
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Support best practice financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team.
