Job summary

SRG Recruitment in South Africa is seeking a Financial Manager to lead the day-to-day finances in a manufacturing environment. You will oversee the finance team, ensure accurate reporting, and drive financial planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasting.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on leadership, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will liaise with auditors and ensure statutory compliance while delivering meaningful insights to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Financial Manager or senior finance professional.
• Strong manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Solid financial, accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience leading and motivating a finance team.
• Solid knowledge of reconciliations, journals, AP/AR and statutory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and problem-solving.
• Able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on, professional, commercially minded approach.
