Snatch | Accounting & Finance Headhunters in Cape Town is seeking a Financial Controller to own the finance function for its newly launched UK business and support international growth.

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage daily accounting, month-end close, and cross-border flows while establishing robust processes for stores and online sales. The role includes multi-currency handling, stock oversight, VAT coordination, and opportunities to broaden exposure through SA projects.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification accounting experience, including reconciliations and month-end close.
• Experience with financial reporting and management reporting.
• UK or EU accounting practice experience is highly advantageous.
• Retail, e-commerce, or FMCG with stock oversight desirable.

Responsabilités

• Run daily accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain finance processes for stores and online sales.
• Oversee inventory and stock information; coordinate with planning and buying teams.
• Manage multi-currency transactions and international payments.
• Coordinate UK/EU VAT and statutory filings with external accountants.
• Produce management reports and margin analysis.
