Job summary

Time Out Group seeks a Financial Controller to lead financial management, reporting and governance for Time Out Market Cape Town. You’ll provide strategic insights, ensure integrity of financial records and drive improvements across the hospitality operation.

Collaboration with senior leadership and concessionaire stakeholders will be key as you manage budgeting, cash flow and month-end processes in a dynamic, multi-unit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly and analyse variances.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Maintain internal controls and IFRS compliance.
• Partner with General Manager and leaders to improve profitability.
• Oversee concessionaire and supplier financial processes.
