Job summary

Old Mutual is seeking a results-driven professional to advise on a range of products to a defined market. You will handle customer service, perform solutions analysis, and manage CRM data to drive retention and new business.

You will also develop relationships with key decision-makers, guide sales calls, and ensure compliance with company policies while pursuing regional growth opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site role in South Africa.

• Provide a quality service to customers while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention.
• Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring more complex matters to colleagues.
• Enter relevant information into the CRM after each contact to support retention and business development.
• Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor materials to decision-makers and influencers; ask questions to gather information.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential accounts to build relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
• Understand and apply the organization's policies to ensure compliance; obtain supervisor authorization for exceptions.
• Monitor and assess sales and market data for a geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop a personal network within the business sector and attend events to raise visibility of the organization.
• Conduct research and extract relevant data to analyze key themes and trends using primary data sources and BI tools.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking value by engaging with networks inside and outside the company.
