Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Completion of or progress towards SAIPA or SAICA articles is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or financial accounting.
• Proficiency in Pastel, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Support internal and external audits.
