Job summary

Farm Manager SA in the Western Cape seeks a skilled financial professional to manage accounting and reporting duties, including producer accounting and regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience with Pastel and QX/Prophet, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and within a team. Proficiency in VAT, PAYE, and income tax is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance is required.
• At least 5 years' relevant financial accounting experience.
• Experience with Pastel and QX/Prophet or a similar agricultural ERP system.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Good understanding of VAT, PAYE and income tax.
• Strong analytical, organisational and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
