Job summary

Recruitment Matters is seeking a qualified accountant to manage end-to-end finance functions in South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification, with at least 7 years of relevant experience in finance, along with strong knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance frameworks.

This position involves overseeing financial reporting and budgeting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and leading a finance team to support business strategies.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) with 7 years finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SYSCOHADA, tax (VAT/Corporate), and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in international service, logistics, or multi-entity finance environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Record to Report and Procure to Pay finance functions.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance.
• Ensure tax compliance, audits, internal controls, and risk management.
• Lead and develop finance team while supporting business strategy and decision-making.
