Job summary

Cosmo Central Group is seeking an aspiring accountant who has completed articles and aims to grow within a dynamic property development and construction environment in Midrand, Gauteng. The role supports monthly close, journal processing, debtor/creditor maintenance, VAT and statutory submissions, and audit file preparation.

You will work under supervision to assist with month-end and year-end processes while developing your technical and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting or related qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience with VAT, tax, and statutory submissions.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting, or a related qualification.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience using Pastel Partner or Pastel Evolution.

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Advantageous

• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles.

• Experience with CaseWare.

• Knowledge of South African VAT legislation.
