Hire Resolves Client in Cape Town is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to oversee the financial accounting functions across six entities. You will maintain accurate ledgers, manage month-end close, and ensure compliance with SARS and statutory requirements.

You will collaborate with auditors, assist with budgets and forecasting, prepare management accounts, and provide insightful financial reporting. A technically strong candidate with multi-entity experience and excellent Excel skills will

Competenze

• BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
• Candidates with completed accounting articles and at least 2 years of relevant post-articles experience will be considered.
• Alternatively, candidates without completed articles must have approximately 45 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience managing multiple entities.
• Good understanding of SARS compliance, including VAT and income tax.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong English communication skills (essential).
• Afrikaans proficiency will be advantageous.
