Qualifications

• Professional qualifications/honour’s degree required
• Chartered Accountant preferred
• 5 years in financial management and 3 years managing others
• Experience with SAP ECC and BPC, governance and controls
• Strong data analysis and business acumen

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team across Financial Operations to support Nedbank Group Finance
• Develop strategic goals for finance operations and ensure consolidation to reporting standards
• Maintain SAP S/4HANA and related landscape for automated delivery of consolidated positions
• Develop financial controls across end-to-end processes with risk/IFRS alignment
• Provide insights by analyzing systems, processes and data, and recommend improvements
• Coordinate interim, annual and internal audit information and analysis
• Ensure accurate budgets aligned with economic indicators and strategic initiatives
• Review reconciliations and follow up on unreconciled items
• Stay current with technology and AI trends to optimize workflows
• Consolidate financial reports and provide value-added recommendations
• Deliver project enhancements and manage PI cycles with stakeholders
• Support transformation goals through Nedbank culture initiatives and collaboration
