Job summary

Chapter 2 in Sandton seeks a hands-on Finance & Operations professional to balance finance administration with MSP operations support. You’ll manage day-to-day accounts, invoicing, payroll input, contractor records and reporting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders on MSP requirements.

You’ll bring 3+ years’ experience in finance-related roles, strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in finance, accounts, bookkeeping, payroll or a similar role.
• Strong experience with invoices, reconciliations and financial administration.
• Payroll and contractor administration experience is highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounts administration.
• Process invoices, expenses, payments and purchase orders.
• Support accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll and month-end processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
• Track budgets, costs and outstanding invoices.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues quickly.
• Support improvements to finance processes and systems.
• Support contractor onboarding, offboarding and ongoing administration.
• Manage contractor records, contracts, extensions and documentation.
• Coordinate timesheets and payroll information.
• Track contractor start/end dates and costs.
• Support supplier and compliance administration.
• Produce reports and maintain accurate operational trackers.
• Work closely with Louise and internal stakeholders on MSP requirements.
