Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ accounting experience in a medium-to-large manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience overseeing Debtors and Creditors functions.
• Strong practice in general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end processes and statutory compliance.
• Experience liaising with external auditors and supporting year-end audits.
• Proven staff supervision and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including Debtors and Creditors.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely year-end audits.
• Assist with tax compliance and statutory returns.
