The Globevest Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Manager / Accountant to join its team in Wadeville, Germiston. The role focuses on maintaining accurate accounting records and overseeing day-to-day debtors and creditors functions, with reporting to the Financial Manager.

You will liaise with external auditors, prepare monthly management accounts, ensure statutory returns are submitted on time, and uphold strong internal controls across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Relevant Accounting Qualification (BCom Finance Degree minimum).

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee debtors/creditors.
• Process journals, reconciliations and month-end adjustments.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory returns.
• Coordinate with SARS and auditors during audits.
• Ensure internal controls and report financial risks.
