Job summary

G-Core Capital seeks a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function and drive strategic business support in South Africa. You will steer budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and regulatory reporting while partnering with senior management to deliver on growth targets.

You will manage working capital, pricing strategies, risk, and performance reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial statements and statutory obligations.

Qualifications

• BComm Accounting (Honours) / CTA, with articles.
• CA(SA) is preferred.
• 5 to 7 years relevant financial management in a Senior role.

Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership & strategic business support
• Achieve revenue, cost and profitability targets
• Shaping and the implementing the strategic plan
• Provide accurate and timely information on current and future views of the business through rigorous analysis and robust performance reviews
• Highlight financial and commercial risks
• Support with pricing strategies and cost management
• Management of the Accounting Function
• Compliance with regulatory, statutory and group reporting requirements
• Project capability for changes to accounting framework landscapes
• Develop and maintain effective control processes to ensure integrity of financial reporting
• Ensure all accounts are effectively reconciled and reported
• Budget and Forecasting
• Formulation of business budgets and ensure these are aligned to strategic business planning processes and performance outputs.
• Measure and monitor performance versus budget and forecast
• Working Capital, Cashflow & Forex
• Partner with business to manage the working capital and cashflow, including stock control and reconciliations.
• Ensure the cashflow needs of the business are met
• Manage non-trade procurement
• Manage debtors and creditors
• Implement initiatives to ensure expenses are maintained at an appropriate level
• Oversee all forex calculations.
• Tax Management
• Attend to all tax matters as the Public Officer
