Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a high-caliber finance leader to report the financial performance of a selected business unit and ensure IFRS-compliant, accurate, and complete records. You will lead the accounting team, review inputs from cost accountants and SSC accountants, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and control environments.

You will oversee journals, reconciliations, fixed assets, and insurance renewals while maintaining strong governance and compliance across the function.

Qualifications

• IFRS knowledge and application in daily financial reporting.
• Ability to interpret and resolve complex financial data and provide insights.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and complete general ledger and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, including reconciliations and management packs.
• Review inputs from site cost accountants and SSC accountants for monthly packs.
• Compile annual budget and quarterly forecasts with assumptions.
• Implement and maintain proper financial controls and reporting systems.
• Authorize journals and oversee reconciliations and fixed asset register.
