Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Finance Manager in Hamburg to act as a proactive business partner for the German Out of Home team. You will drive financial planning, forecasting and governance across the OOH portfolio while guiding commercial decisions and performance improvements.

You will manage budgeting for A&P investments, contribute to S&OP processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Completed degree with focus on Finance (e.g., CA, CIMA, ACCA; MBA/Master advantageous).
• 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Controlling; FMCG preferred.
• Strong financial analytics, forecasting, price setting and trade-investment management experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial-modelling skills; fluent German and English.
• Proactive and analytical with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Financial control and active business partnering for the German OOH business.
• Forecasts for sales volume, revenue, gross profit and Operating Price Growth (OPG).
• Support the S&OP process from demand planning to cash-up for OOH Germany.
• Plan and evaluate Trade Marketing investments and ROI with CD and CSP teams.
• Ensure governance, data integrity and reporting for OOH Finance across DACH.

Die Rolle

In dieser Position fungiert du als effektive*r Business Partner*in und Performance Manager*in für das Out of Home (OOH)-Leadership-Team und bietest umfassende Unterstützung für den Geschäftsbereich. Darüber hinaus trägst du zum Aufbau und zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Prozessen und Arbeitsweisen innerhalb der Organisation bei.

Deine Aufgaben

Business Partnering & Value Creation

• Finanzielle Steuerung und aktives Business Partnering für das deutsche OOH Geschäft durch datenbasierte Analysen, Business Cases und kommerzielle Empfehlungen zur nachhaltigen Verbesserung von Wachstum und Profitabilität.

Performance Management & Forecasting

• Verantwortung für die Forecasts von Absatzvolumen, Umsatz, Bruttogewinn und Operating Price Growth (OPG) auf Basis belastbarer Annahmen.
• Unterstützung des ganzheitlichen S&OP-Prozesses von der Absatzplanung bis zum Financial Cash-Up für OOH Deutschland.

Revenue Growth Management & Trade Investment

• Finanzielle Steuerung und Bewertung von Preisstrategien, Revenue-Growth-Management- und Portfoliooptimierungsinitiativen für OOH Deutschland in Zusammenarbeit mit Customer Development (CD) und Customer Strategy & Planning (CSP) Teams.
• Verantwortung für die Planung von Trade-Marketing-Investitionen (TMI), die Allokation von Investitionen und die Definition von OPG-Zielen.
• Bewertung von Kundeninvestitionen, Promotionsplänen und kommerziellen Vereinbarungen zur Maximierung des Return on Investment.
• Sicherstellung einer wirksamen Governance sowie eines transparenten Performance-Trackings von Handelsinvestitionen und kommerziellen Ausgaben in Zusammenarbeit mit Controlling.

Finanzplanung & Performance-Steuerung

• Unterstützung der Budget- und Forecast-Prozesse für A&P-Investitionen sowie des Monatsabschlusses im OOH-Bereich.

Capex- & Investitionsmanagement

• Verantwortung für die finanzielle Bewertung und Priorisierung des OOH-Capex-Portfolios innerhalb der DACH-Region.
• Analyse der Wirtschaftlichkeit von Kühltruhen, Vending-Lösungen und weiteren Investitionen sowie Ableitung von Handlungsempfehlungen zur Optimierung von Wachstum und Rendite.

Governance & Compliance

• Sicherstellung einer qualitativ hochwertigen Berichterstattung, Datenintegrität und Stammdaten-Governance.
• Unterstützung bei internen Kontrollen, Audit-Aktivitäten und Compliance-Anforderungen.
• Koordination und Standardisierung der OOH-Finance-Aktivitäten in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.

Was du mitbringst

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium mit Schwerpunkt Finance beispielsweise CA, CIMA oder ACCA; ein MBA oder Masterabschluss ist von Vorteil.
• 3 bis 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering, FP&A oder Controlling, idealerweise in der FMCG-Branche.
• Ausgeprägtes kaufmännisches Verständnis sowie die Fähigkeit, Geschäftsentscheidungen durch fundierte Finanzanalysen zu beeinflussen.
• Nachweisbare Erfahrung in Forecasting, Performance Management, Preisgestaltung und Trade-Investment-Management.
• Sehr gute Excel- und Financial-Modelling-Kenntnisse.
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Proaktive, analytische Arbeitsweise sowie sicheres Auftreten gegenüber Senior Stakeholdern verschiedener Unternehmensbereiche.
