Job summary

KHS Product Technologies is seeking a regional sales professional in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a mechanical or electrical engineering background. You will drive market development, manage customer relationships, and represent KHS at events.

The role requires 3–5 years in filling/packaging sales, travel flexibility, and the ability to work well in teams. German language is a plus; local and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3–5 years sales experience in the filling and packaging industry.
• Good knowledge of KHS Product Technologies, SAP and MS Office.
• Travel locally and internationally is required.
• German language would be an advantage.
• Self-management, goal-oriented and able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Development of sales strategies (market and customer development).
• Representing KHS Product Technologies.
• Customer relationship management.
• Attend local exhibitions, workshops and road shows.
• Regional social media marketing.
• Define local sales and service strategies for KHS products.
• Initiating opportunities (KHS Connect) and preparing quotes.
• Managing budgets, quotations, and tender documents.
• Developing visitation programs to source new customers.

Your Tasks:

• Development of sales strategies (market and customerdevelopment)
• Representing KHS Product Technologies
• Customer Relationship Management
• Attending local exhibitions, Workshops and road shows
• Regional social media marketing
• Conduct regional market analysis and trends
• Define local sales and service strategies for KHS products
• Canvasing (active marketing)
• Initiating opportunity (KHS Connect)
• Manage and execute Offer
• Preparation of budget quotations
• Manage Both Internal and External Stakeholders
• Technical & commercial discussions
• Clarify and verify commercial and contractual terms(internal/external).
• Preparation of order entry
• Handover and external technical clarification
• Compiling and delivering quotes, proposals and tenderdocuments.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring visitationprograms to source new customers and opportunities.

Your Qualifications:

• University degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• 3-5 years sales experience in the filling and packagingindustry
• Good knowledge of KHS Product Technologies as well asSAP and MS office
• Travel Local and International required
• Ability to work under pressure, ability to work in a team,high willingness to learn
• Self-Management, Goal-oriented and Work Independentlyand Team Player
• Attention to Detail
• Excellent communication skills
• German Speaking would be an advantage
• Must be willing and able to travel locally andinternationally as required by operational and businessneeds.
