Job summary

Kelly in South Africa seeks a hands-on Finance Manager for a manufacturing environment in Elsies River. You will lead management accounting, costing, financial reporting, and BI to drive business performance.

This role partners with senior leadership to translate numbers into strategy, manage cash flow, budgeting, and ensure regulatory compliance. A strong background in BOMs, standard costing, and Syspro is ideal.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting / Financial Accounting / Management Accounting or equivalent is must.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate finance/accounting experience.
• 2-3 years in a Senior Accounting, Management Accounting / Finance Management role within a Manufacturing/Production/ factory environment.
• Proven experience in standard costing, Bills of Materials (BOMs), product costing, and margin analysis.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory management and stock reporting within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis and report.
• Proven experience using Power BI for reporting, dashboard creation, and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems, with Syspro experience highly advantageous.
• Cash flow forecasting and financial analysis background
• Demonstrated ability to interpret financial and operational data, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management
