Job summary

TalentFuse (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng seeks a financially astute Financial Manager to take full ownership of the finance function in a growing manufacturing business.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, annual statements, manage cash flow, working capital, and reporting, implement strong controls, and ensure SARS compliance. ERP experience with Acumatica is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the finance function.

• Oversee debtors, creditors, and treasury activities.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, systems, and reporting processes.
• Ensure statutory compliance, including VAT, PAYE, UIF, and all SARS-related matters.
• Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance against business objectives.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for business improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom Accounting,BCom Honours, SAIPA or CIMAqualification.
• 3–7 years' experience in a Financial Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including Activity-Based Costing (ABC).
• Experience managing working capital and cash flow.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, management accounting, and financial controls.
• Experience dealing directly with SARS and statutory compliance.
• ERP system experience (Acumatica would be advantageous).
