As a Finance & Logistics Specialist - SSA, you will play a key role in ensuring strong financial operations and logistical support for our South African regional office. You will work closely with suppliers, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient processes that support Elekta’s mission.
The majority of your time will be spent managing financial tasks, including procurement, payments, reporting and compliance activities.
Oversee end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with internal controls
Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and related procurement documentation
Prepare supplier reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
Manage vendor payments and onboarding processes, ensuring all documentation (BEE, NDAs, ISO certs, etc.) is complete and compliant
Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties
Prepare and submit Exchange Control Applications (ECA) and approvals for timely international payments
Compile and submit intercompany payment application packs, including SAD500, EDI, commercial invoices, and waybills
Ensure execution and maintenance of internal transfer pricing agreements
Assist with cash collections from debtors/customers
Prepare budgets and quarterly forecasts
Perform monthly cost control through variance analysis
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivables and cashbook reconciliations
Assist with internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries
Liaising with freight forwarders, couriers, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and company policies
Accurate processing and management of shipping documentation
Supporting inventory management and recording of goods received/dispatched
Providing administrative support to the logistics or supply chain team
Ad hoc office and business support aligned with responsibilities
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Customer-focused mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Logistics qualification is a plus
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational or import/export-driven organization
Experience preparing customs documentation and liaising with brokers
Understanding of ERP systems (M3, Coupa, Salesforce preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience supporting audits and managing vendor relationships
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative
