Qualifications

• Relevant knowledge of PFMA, NTRs, and financial prescripts.
• Experience with annual financial statements and budgets.
• Ability to interpret and apply financial policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Director: Finance in executing the hospital's strategic objectives.
• Manage the Creditors section effectively to achieve its goals and targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on the Annual Financial Statements.
• Interpret, apply and ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations and instructions as practiced in the Public Sector.
• Do quarterly evaluations and give training to personnel.
• Authorize transactions on LOGIS and BAS.
• Manage staff performance and development.
• Handle computer systems such as LOGIS and BAS effectively.
• Maintain and clear Assets and Liabilities accounts.
• Manage and maintain debtor accounts.
