Job summary

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or near-complete degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related field.
• Interest in developing a career in Finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with accuracy in financial information."
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous internship or practical exposure to a finance environment.
• Experience using spreadsheet applications (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial and administrative activities.
• Assist with processing, checking and maintaining financial information and records.
• Support account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports, schedules and documentation.
• Capture and maintain accurate financial information in relevant systems.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and other finance processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Finance to resolve queries.
• Follow established financial processes and controls while learning their importance.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and activities to develop skills.
