Job summary

CVQuest seeks a Finance Business Partner to the Executive Director: Manufacturing & Installations. You will own the department's financial health, drive commercial decisions, manage budgets and forecasts, and enforce financial governance across manufacturing and installation operations.

You will provide strategic financial counsel to operational leadership, challenge costly decisions, exercise expenditure authority, and lead cost-reduction initiatives to maximize profitability.

As the dedicated Finance Business Partner to the Executive Director: Manufacturing & Installations, this role takes full ownership of the department's financial health, actively driving commercial decisions, managing budgets and forecasts, and enforcing financial governance. Beyond traditional reporting, it provides strategic counsel to operational leadership, challenging costly decisions, exercising expenditure approval authority, and leading cost-reduction initiatives to maximize profitability across all manufacturing and installation operations.

• Acting as the dedicated Finance Business Partner to the Executive Director: Manufacturing & Installations.
• Taking ownership of the department's overall financial performance, rather than only monitoring and reporting on it.
• Developing and managing departmental budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with operational management.
• Leading monthly financial performance reviews with management and recommending corrective actions.
• Providing commercial and financial recommendations that influence operational and strategic decision-making.
• Challenging operational decisions that negatively impact profitability and recommending alternative solutions.
• Owning the financial governance framework for the Manufacturing department and driving continuous improvements to financial controls and processes.
• Exercising delegated authority to review or approve project expenditure within approved financial limits, where applicable.
• Leading initiatives to improve margins, reduce costs and strengthen financial performance across the department.
