Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Financial Controller with forecasting, management reporting, and commercial insight across six EMCP entities. The role includes leading an Analyst and presenting quarterly reviews to EXCO, while collaborating with Sales, Operations and Logistics to understand financial impact.

The ideal candidate holds a BCom in Accounting/Finance with 5–10 years of progressive finance experience and strong Excel/SAP skills, ready to drive

• BCom Accounting, Finance or related degree.
• 5-10 years' progressive finance experience with increasing responsibility.
• Proven FBP / commercial finance experience.
• Strong forecasting and financial analysis experience.
• Experience across multiple entities and/or regional structure.
• Experience presenting financial information to EXCO or senior leadership.
• Strong management reporting and variance analysis capability.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel.
• SAP experience.
• Strong commercial understanding across Sales, Operations and Logistics.

Our client is an established player in the mining equipment industry, providing equipment and supporting solutions to the mining sector across the EMCP region. With six entities forming part of the regional operation, finance sits close to the commercial engine of the business, connecting financial performance with sales, operations and logistics.

This is where you come in.

As Finance Business Partner, you'll support the Financial Controller with the financial and commercial insight needed to understand where the business is heading, not simply where it has been. Forecasting, management reporting, expense analysis and business partnering will form a large part of your remit, while your ability to present quarterly reviews to EXCO will put your analysis in front of senior decision-makers.

You'll also have an Analyst reporting directly to you, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of the function while partnering with the Financial Controller and Senior Financial Manager.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• BCom Accounting, Finance or related degree
• 5-10 years' progressive finance experience, your career should show increasing responsibility, commercial exposure and ownership
• Proven Finance Business Partnering / commercial finance experience
• Strong forecasting and financial analysis experience
• Experience working across multiple entities and/or a regional structure
• Experience presenting financial information to EXCO or senior leadership
• Strong management reporting and variance analysis capability
• Advanced Excel
• SAP experience
• Strong commercial understanding across Sales, Operations and Logistics
• Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring an Analyst will be advantageous
