Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Commercial Finance Manager with 7–10 years FP&A or business partnering experience. You will partner with Supply Chain and Customer Service, lead pricing analyses and profitability reviews, and provide strategic financial guidance for growth.

You must be data-driven, fluent in English, and capable of building strong cross-functional relationships while upholding governance and ethics.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent are required.
• 7 to 10 years of FP&A or business partnering experience.
• Data-savvy with strong SAP knowledge (minimum 3 years).
• Business partnering, influencing, learning agility, transparency and ethics.
• English fluency required due to international exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage reporting and approval process for commercial projects and monthly reports.
• Support creation of business opportunities, using business cases to back Profit Plan and annual targets.
• Foster cross-functional relationships between Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Conduct pricing analysis, profitability benchmarking, cost savings, and competitive assessments.
• Perform quarterly/annual analysis comparing P&L to pricing conditions and market conditions.
• Provide decision support for commercial deals, pricing actions and investments.
• Build strong relationships with country leadership and support profitable growth.
• Provide real-time financial guidance and insights for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering:
• Manage reporting and approval process for commercial project and monthly reports
• Support with creation of business opportunities, utilizing business case to support Profit Plan andannual business targets
• Foster and maintain effective cross-functional relationships between
• Supply Chain and Customer Service
• Conduct project pricing analysis, including profitability, benchmarking, cost savings, and competitiveassessments
• Perform Quarterly -annual analysis, comparing accounts' P&L against proposed pricing conditionsand Market conditions to evaluate the impact on profitability
• Proactive commercial business relationship management and partnership
• Build strong relationships with the members of the country leadership team
• Co-pilot the country's performance to profitable growth
• Ensure real-time support, financial guidance, and improved insights into business performance andinformed decision making
• Provide decision support for commercial deals, pricing actions and investment opportunities
• Build strong business and commercial acumen through direct relationships with the customers andbusiness units
• Assess and advice on appropriate actions to manage business and finance risk and communicateimpact effectively
• Lead or support the development of business cases
• Analytics:
• Provide insights into the business performance for the areas under responsibility and qualitycommentaries for monthly reporting requirements
• Lead the business partnering support for the annual profit plans and monthly forecasting workingtogether with the country leadership teams
