Mondelēz International in Johannesburg is seeking an Accounting & External Reporting Analyst to classify, examine, and analyze accounting records, prepare financial reports and statements, and support month-end close. Under close supervision, you will contribute to US GAAP reporting, statutory reporting, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in accounting and controlling in a similar environment/role for at least 12 months.
• FMCG experience advantageous.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support accounting and external reporting activities including accurate U.S. GAAP reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support audits and provide information at an auditor's request.
• Perform special projects and analyses as requested.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working in your area of responsibility.
• Contribute to a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team and personal development.
