Job summary

Unilever is hiring a Reporting, Information and Analytics Analyst within the Finance function in Durban/Johannesburg. The role focuses on managing global submissions and driving the Information & Analytics digital agenda within finance.

You will work with Global, ZALT, FET, and InA teams, maintaining data libraries, ensuring cross-system alignment (SAP, BW, GCUT, Ifinance), and partner with the Southern Africa director to deliver accurate monthly and quarterly reporting and commentary.

Qualifications

• Finance degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
• Natural bias for action and resilience.
• Ability to influence without authority in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate findings verbally and in presentations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of analyses of monthly/quarterly results and forecast reports to Global reporting UniOps team.
• Maintain library of historical data and submissions; ensure alignment across reporting systems (SAP, BW, GCUT, Ifinance).
• Create and maintain process documentation/workflows and self-service guidance for global reports.
• Automate standard reports in line with efficiency mandate.
• Partner with Southern Africa director on all reporting matters; provide timeous commentary for variance analysis.
