Job summary

Unilever is hiring a Reporting, Information and Analytics Analyst to support the Finance reporting function across Southern Africa, based in Durban/Johannesburg. The role focuses on managing global submissions within set timelines and driving the Information & Analytics digital agenda in Finance.

The candidate will ensure accurate monthly/quarterly results, forecast reporting, and maintain data libraries. SAP, GCUT and Ifinance experience are essential, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

Finance degree with 3–5 years relevant experience.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
Natural bias for action, high levels of self‑assurance and resilience.
Ability to influence without authority in a matrix organization.
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate analytical findings.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to work under pressure during month end reporting.
SAP, GCUT, Ifinance experience.

Responsibilities

Manage Global submissions within communicated timelines for Finance reports.
Drive Information & Analytics digital agenda within finance.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly results and forecast reports.
Maintain library of historical data and submissions; align across reporting systems (SAP, BW, GCUT, Ifinance).
Create and maintain process documentation/workflows and self‑service guidance for global reports.
Automate standard reports to improve efficiency.
Partner with the Southern Africa director on all reporting matters.
Support month‑end variance analysis and provide timely commentary.
