Job summary

Unilever is hiring a Commercial Finance Business Partner for Modern Trade. Based in Durban/Johannesburg, you will forecast, control, and analyse finance metrics to drive CD performance.

The role requires close collaboration with CD operations, account teams, and the Order to Cash process to optimize investments and manage risks. Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years in Commercial Finance (FMCG preferred), a BCom in Financial/Accounting, and will value strong governance, Excel, SAP and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Commercial Finance experience (FMCG preferred).
• BCom Degree - Financial / Accounting.
• CA or CIMA would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support decisions around promotions and work with Operations on accruals.
• Manage investments behind channels/categories/activities/customers.
• Partner with account teams to monitor performance and forecast changes.
• Communicate and manage targets and spend, attendance at business reviews.
• Develop customer investment plans and drive implementation; manage debtors and resolve deductions.
