Job summary

The Talent Room in Somerset West is seeking a Finance Intern for a 12-month YES Learnership. You will support day-to-day finance tasks and gain practical experience in a professional finance environment.

We welcome recent graduates with a BCom in Accounting/Finance and strong MS Excel skills. The role requires accuracy, numerical ability, and the willingness to learn, with a SA citizen and unemployed at placement a must.

Qualifications

• BCom degree in Accounting/Finance/Financial Management or related field.
• MS Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting administration.
• Capture and process financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with reconciliations and checking financial information.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation.
• Assist with invoicing and processing payments.
• Support the finance team with month-end administration.
• Assist with data capturing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
• Perform other finance-related duties as required.

Our client is hiring a Finance Intern to join their team in Somerset West. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance graduate to gain practical experience and develop their skills within a professional finance environment. This is a 12 month YES Learnership Opportunity. The salary for the role is R7500,00

Requirements:
