About the Role

Our client, a key supplier of specialized equipment to the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to serve the Welkom area. This role involves providing essential maintenance, repair, and installation services for complex machinery used in FMCG production and packaging. You will be the frontline technical expert, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime, and upholding the highest standards of service quality. This is a hand-on position for a technically skilled individual who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with customers in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repair services on FMCG equipment at client sites.
• Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.

Requirements
