Placements24 is seeking a versatile Field Operations Technician to join our client in Randburg. You will deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of technical equipment at customer sites, delivering reliable field service.

This role requires a hands-on approach, and strong problem-solving abilities, with occasional remote support as needed. The successful candidate will be adaptable, client-focused and capable of documenting site visits, performing diagnostics, and providing basic client

• Proven experience as a Field Operations Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Gauteng.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment at client locations.
• Perform maintenance checks and diagnostic tests on operational equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field issues with minimal disruption.
• Respond to service calls and emergency requests promptly.
• Maintain records of all work, including site visits, repairs, and parts used.

About the Role

You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of technical equipment and systems at customer sites. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
