Placements24 is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee daily field activities at our Upington facilities. The role requires hands-on on-site leadership of technicians and operators, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all field tasks in the Oil & Gas/mining context.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, manage permits, and mentor staff while upholding high safety standards in a demanding environment. Accommodation may be provided.

Qualifikationen

• Matriculation certificate or equivalent.
• A technical diploma or relevant certification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in field operations, preferably in Oil & Gas, mining, or related industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and managing operational workflows.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding operational environment.
• Familiarity with relevant operational equipment and technologies.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required by operational needs.
• Knowledge of the local operational context in the Northern Cape is a plus.
