Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead upstream operations near Mahikeng. This senior role oversees field development, production activities, budgets, and personnel management to drive safety, efficiency, and profitability.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, liaise with regulators and partners, and shape operational strategy in the North West region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in oil and gas field operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven track record in managing complex field operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas processes, technologies, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and performance management.

Responsibilities
