Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of field operations experience in Oil & Gas with 3+ years in supervision/management.
• Experience in upstream production operations including artificial lift, separation, and flow assurance.
• Strong knowledge of production optimization techniques and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, team management and decision-making skills.
• In-depth HSE knowledge and regulatory compliance in Oil & Gas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to relocate to Soweto, SA and eligible to work in SA.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily field production operations and ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Lead, mentor and develop field operations teams (operators, technicians, supervisors).
• Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company policies.
• Monitor production performance and implement optimization initiatives.
• Manage maintenance and integrity of facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage operational budgets for cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, subsurface and logistics for seamless operations.
• Respond to operational emergencies with effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee management of produced water and waste materials.
• Conduct site inspections and performance reviews for operational excellence.
