Placements24 is seeking a proactive Field Operations Coordinator to support installation and maintenance teams around Upington, Northern Cape. You’ll manage daily field activities, optimize routes, allocate resources, and liaise between field technicians and the operations hub.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in operations coordination or field service management, strong communication, and proficiency with scheduling software and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations coordination, logistics, or field service management.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and CRM systems.
• Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within the Upington area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules and assignments for field technicians, optimizing routes and resources.
• Serve as primary contact for field teams, addressing operational and logistical issues.
• Manage inventory and dispatch of parts and equipment to field sites.
• Track progress of service calls and installations for timely completion.
• Maintain records of field operations, including technician reports and service logs.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new field staff on procedures.

About the Role

This role serves as a crucial link between the field service technicians and the central operations hub, ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and communication. You will be responsible for managing daily field activities, troubleshooting logistical challenges, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily schedules and assignments for field service technicians, optimizing routes and resource deployment.
