Placements24 is seeking a Field Network Engineer to join our remote support team servicing clients across locations with a focus on the Randburg area. You will deploy, configure, and maintain complex network infrastructures at client sites, often traveling for on-site problem resolution while being managed remotely.

You will design, implement, and support network solutions, ensuring performance, security, and reliability while documenting configurations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar senior network role.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols, switching technologies, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Proficiency with various network hardware vendors and management platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Willingness to travel for on-site deployments and support.
