Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment is seeking a Field Guide for a luxury game lodge near Vaalwater, Limpopo. The role includes daily game drives, guest hosting, airport transfers, and guiding excursions to local reserves. You will assist across lodge departments and lead bush walks, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate holds FGASA Level 1/2 with guiding qualifications, Grade 12, a valid RSA licence with PDP, First Aid, rifle handling, SAPS firearm competency, and DEAT registration.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent educational qualification.
• Minimum 2+ years in a 4/5* lodge environment.
• FGASA Level 1/2 and relevant guiding qualifications.
• Valid RSA Driver's Licence and PDP.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Rifle handling competency.
• SAPS Firearm Competency.
• DEAT registration or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Daily game drives for guests and safaris.
• Host guests and manage guest activities and airport transfers.
• Take guests on excursions to nearby game reserves.
• Drive guests on day safaris and excursions.
• Assist across lodge departments when needed.
• Conduct bush walks and related activities.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years previous experience in a 4 / 5* lodge environment
• FGASA Level 1 / 2 and all relevant guiding qualifications
